Day #1

Day one began with a rather curious dream. My dad had a nightmare and is mad at my mom for God knows what reason. I wish he'd try to explain it and not go around looking very irritated with everyone and everything. Oh well.

my Physics tuition in the morning was canceled. so was our family outing to BORDERS aka heaven on earth since my dad is being miffy. I have to no idea what to do about him. Mom feels so bad over what he dreamed about although it was HIS dream. like, come on. it was a dream get over it.

on the other hand, my dream last night was GREAT. I dreamed that I graduated as valedictorian in Harvard. again, it was a dream but hopefully a not too far reality. ;) ;)

september dawns

The world famous Merdeka! photo. FYI: the MERDEKA! was shouted 7 times and not our classic 2. And our beloved Tunku Abdul Rahman's hand was not in a fist but he showed his palm towards the crowd. Think HAIL, HITLER style (and no, I'm not a Nazi). He was a great man. Better than all our Prime Ministers put together. oh well, Happy Independence of Peninsular Malaysia Day! I'm all in for the holiday. ;)

On a more important note, September starts tomorrow and this month is an important month for all of us. This month is the Month of Fasting for our Muslim friends, a month of exams for students. This month is going to be crazy month as I'll be starting my new Additional Maths (like we need to ADD more) tuition and my classes with a new piano teacher. Godspell practices are full swing and YE is going to be liquified (THANK GOD!). The post WYD dinner is this Saturday but I am not going to attend as I have the aforesaid practices from 10am to 5pm and Chemistry tuition from 5.30pm to 7pm. I doubt I'll have enough energy to last through a dinner. I can only take so much.

September is the month of hitting the books and not spending too much time doing anything else. Of couse I shall suffer the temptation of sitting on this particular chair and typing on this bacteria infested keyboard. But then there's the nagging I will get if I remain here a little too long. We all understand that pain right? September is one heck of a month. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Still its the beginning of the 3 month countdown to holidays at the end of the year. I can at least be grateful for that.

ps: yes, I have changed my blogskin to one I have used before. My fickle mindedness makes me who I am. xx

overload

Because of our school's perasmian, all of us are stressed out. It is seriously TIME consuming and tiring. I didn't go to school today since I was EXTREMELY exhausted. I could barely lift a finger. Maybe you think I'm over reacting but if you were in my shoes you'd feel like someone pulled you to different corners of the world and you were stretched beyond compare.

so here's to tomorrow! may it be a success. (it has to be for the trouble I'm going through)

that was all I felt yesterday. heck, i think i over reacted. maybe it was me who couldn't deal with being wrong. I guess the selfish, arrogant alter ego took over and was desperate to punish your mistakes. But it was mine for not letting you live your life. It was me who couldn't grow up and face the fact that you're the one in charge of your own happiness and even your own misery. I guess it is high time I stop thinking I'm the best and let you live your own life.

I still stand by my word; I shall leave you be. When asked, I promise to give my honest input whether or not you like it. But after that, I will not be a part of your choices. I shall not tell you what to do or how to react. You are your own person. I am not you. I can never be you nor do I want to. How can I impose my own beliefs and my own opinions when you can make up your own mind.

practice

first practice went well for our musical. :D it was fun really. Justin Ivan Dass is ALSO in. It was really so much fun. However I want to switch my roles with another character since the girl who was suppose to play her dropped out. I asked our director (who's name I can't spell) and he said I might play TWO roles. =.= funny. i don't mind but I just want to have the OTHER song and not the one I'm given.

GODSPELL supposedly will be "played" in November. fast right?

I guess I relate a lot to Anne since I practically "lived" off the joy of imagination that she did too. okay, off topic.

GODSPELL

So I did audition in the end. I felt so bad since Timothy kinda made an effort to come up with a slot for Mel and I to audition on Sunday. Mel skipped Sunday School in CKK and joined my Form 4 class in CDM. We auditioned after Sunday School and well...


I've landed a role on CDM's GODSPELL production. I'm Peggy. The musical (which you can read about on the oh-so-faithful Wikipedia) has only 10 main characters and each (well, 9 actually) lead in one song. Mine is the BY MY SIDE. its rather slow. I was suppose to get the role of Gilmer who sing this 1 minute song song LEARN YOUR LESSONS WELL but Timothy send me a sms later telling me that I'm switching roles with Mel. His excuse was that BY MY SIDE suited me better.

Practices are on Saturday from 2.30pm to .. who knows when. I've got BK at 4pm so I'm "cabut-ing" earlier. I'm glad I auditioned. I was going to audition after Sunday School with or without Mel but she came through in the end. I guess I've got "a bit" of independence with me.

un-independent

independence is something I've never got. I rely on people way too much for my own good. I didn't go for auditions today because Mel backed out, something i've wanted for a long while. I didn't sign up for this seminar because no one else would go with me.

how can one stand on her own feet?
how can you stop being so dependent on someone else?
how can i release myself and be willing to step out?

believe it or not... i'm shy.
i get scared easily.
its hard for me to make friends if i'm thrown in a situation where i'm alone.

any advice?

tomorrow is another day of school. can i say i'm happy? not really. school is nice at times but usually most days tend to be very crappy. especially mondays since its the beginning of another dreary week. but hey, 14 days to the holidays. i love holidays. don't tell me you don't?

i went to the Curve today. i want to live in BORDERS. isn't BORDERS heaven on earth? so to speak. i'd love to live in BORDERS. really. i would really really love to live there.

jess has some home problemas with her not related family member. i feel bad for her. she was really upset about it and blames herself. i can't say enough how it is NOT her fault.
